One of the most interesting election campaigns among the largest cities in Israel is expected to be in Haifa.
Nine candidates are trying to oust Einat Kalish Rotem from the mayor's chair, at the end of a single term.
According to a Ma'ariv poll conducted between February 2-5, 2024, it appears that the leading candidate in the race is Yona Yahav with 27% of the votes, followed by David Etzioni - 17%, Borovsky - 8%, Kalish Rotem - 5%, Han - 5 %, Sarit Golan - 3%, Rats - 3%, Barbie - 2%, Kartik - 1%.
A very high percentage of the residents, 29% still do not know or have not yet decided who they will vote for.
Among those who have an opinion, Yahav leads with 38% support, David Etzioni receives 24% and Klish Rotem receives only 7%.
In the 'Maariv' poll in Haifa held on September 23, the candidates received Yona Yahav - 28%, David Etzioni - 16%, Yaakov Borovsky - 6%, Einat Kalish Rotem - 5%.

In a survey in Haifa conducted on February 2-5, 400 respondents participated, constituting a representative sample of Haifa residents aged 17 and over.
The maximum sampling error in the survey is 4.9%.
