The jungle camp is going into an all-star relay in the summer.
An ex-camper has already rejected the format.
Berlin – This year’s jungle camp season ended on February 4th.
No Angels member Lucy Diakovska (47) was crowned jungle queen, succeeding Djamila Rowe (56).
Normally, fans of the reality show have to wait a whole year until there is new jungle content.
But in 2024, viewers can look forward to another highlight.
Jungle camp all-star relay: Sonja Zietlow and Jan Köppen are there
“We’re back in the summer – with an all-stars relay,” announced jungle camp presenter Sonja Zietlow (55) at the big reunion.
“After 20 years of jungle camp, twelve former jungle stars are embarking on the adventure of their lives again.
In South Africa.” In addition to Zietlow, co-host Jan Köppen (40) and camp doctor and audience favorite Dr.
Bob (73) will be there.
But which former jungle stars will take on the adventure?
An ex-camper has already rejected the new format.
Gabriella De Almeida Rinne (34), who became known through the band Queensberry, took part in “I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here!” in 2014 and ended up in seventh place.
A year later she was seen on the show “I'm a Star - Let Me Back In!”, in which former participants played to get back into the camp.

That seems to have been enough jungle adventure for Gabriella De Almeida Rinne.
“I think I’m done with the jungle now,” she explains in an interview with “Promiflash”.
A lot has happened.
The reality format made her more mature and she realized: “I don’t always have to test myself.”

RTL has not yet announced who will actually be there in “I am a Star – Showdown of the Jungle Legends” in the summer.
The only thing that is certain is that there will be twelve celebrities.
There is a large selection of candidates who have been remembered in previous seasons and who could cause a stir again this time.
There is already speculation about names like Désirée Nick (67), Sarah Knappik (37), Elena Miras (31), Helena Fürst (49), Larissa Marolt (31) and Mike Heiter (31).
The latter was dissatisfied with his performance in the most recent season, which was overshadowed by the drama with ex Kim Virginia.
Maybe the camper will get a second chance to show a different side of himself.
