End of suspense for the Versailles estate!
After nearly two years of presidential procrastination, and several aborted announcements, the presidency of Versailles will finally change hands in the coming days.
According to our information, Emmanuel Macron announced to Catherine Pgard, appointed in 2011, that she would ultimately have to give up her place to Christophe Leribault, current director of the Musée d'Orsay.
Announced as imminent in recent weeks, delayed by a few more days by the reshuffle, the appointment will be presented to the Council of Ministers next Wednesday.
Catherine Pgard, appointed in 2011 by Nicolas Sarkozy and reached the age limit since March 2021, nevertheless suggested that she had received assurances to remain in post at least until the end of the Olympic and Paralympic Games which will take place. ends on September 8.
