Bill Kaulitz introduced his new companion online: the dog Alfia Pearlpop.
However, his followers are beside themselves after this news.
Los Angeles - It's no secret that Bill (34) and Tom Kaulitz (34) are big dog lovers.
However, after all of their four-legged friends died within a very short period of time around a year ago, the Tokio Hotel stars were dogless for a while.
Tom and his wife Heidi Klum (50) got two puppies in September.
Now Bill is following suit and is also presenting animal growth online - but his fans are anything but enthusiastic.

After Heidi Klum, among others, said a moving farewell to her deceased dogs, she, her husband and brother-in-law Bill Kaulitz are ready for new things.
While Tom had already received the two dogs Uschi and Jäger from the GNTM boss last year, Bill has now adopted little Alfia Pearlpop.

He proudly presents the puppy and writes on Instagram.
“This is Alfia Pearlpop.
I adopted her.
She is a 4-month-old Blue Merle Frenchie girl and has stolen my heart,” the singer enthuses about his new companion.
In the podcast “Kaulitz Hills – Mustard from Hollywood” he also reports how complicated the adoption process was and that he was put through his paces by the animal welfare organization.
Nevertheless, Bill is sharply criticized for his decision.

Some fans are offended by the fact that his new dog is a French bulldog.
“I really like you, but why torture breeding?
Really sad and dangerous,” writes one user.
Numerous other followers see it the same way.
“It's great that you chose a dog from an animal shelter, but unfortunately that doesn't change the fact that every photo you post with the dog will lead to fans perhaps choosing this breed for exactly that reason.
And then maybe not from animal welfare,” commented another.

I think it would be even better if you drew attention to the problem of breeding pugs and Frenchies.
“This could prevent a lot of dog suffering,” notes another fan.
Others, however, are happy for Bill and his new, loyal companion.
