A cyclist was seriously injured in an accident near Hohenbrunn.
A car had hit him - apparently a gust of wind was to blame.
Hohenbrunn - A cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a car on Siegertsbrunner Straße near Hohenbrunn.
According to the police, the Skoda, driven by a 32-year-old from Oberhaching, was traveling in a southeasterly direction.
The 38-year-old cyclist from Egmating (Ebersberg district) was riding his bike on the right side of the road.
As the driver wanted to overtake him, a gust of wind hit the car, which, the 32-year-old told the police, pushed him to the right and hit the cyclist.
The 38-year-old was seriously injured as a result.
His bike is junk and there was minor damage to the car.
