Clashes broke out on Friday between security forces firing tear gas and groups of young people seeking to gather near the Place de la Nation in Dakar, after the recent announcement of the postponement of the presidential election by Senegalese President Macky Sall.

Small mobile groups in adjacent streets try to get closer by throwing stones, but they are kept at bay by police in riot gear.
