The circumstances of an alcohol-related accident on Thursday shortly after 8 p.m. in the eastern district are almost strange.
The person responsible was injured - although not in the crash, but while fleeing.
The Dorfen police say that a witness observed the 19-year-old from Hague driving his car while clearly intoxicated.
Near Straß, at the junction of the Schwindkirchen-Unterstollnkirchen local road, the car crashed into a traffic sign.
The witness confronted him.
The 19-year-old is lying away.
He jumped over the guard rail, but then rolled down the embankment.
He paid for this with arm and head injuries.
