Enilive inaugurates in Ostia, in the historic Eni service station in Piazzale della Posta, Alt Stazione del Gusto, in collaboration with the Niko Romito Academy.

The menu, from breakfast to dinner, is defined by the starred chef as "Pop, which does not mean that it is not of quality" with proposals ranging from sweet or savory revisited bombs, to focaccias made with selected flours with different fillings to creamed cod.

It is the second opening for these stores, after the one in Rome Eur, and in the coming months others will follow in Rome, in Corso Francia, then in Circonvallazione Trionfale and, probably by the end of the year, in Via Aurelia.

Also in 2024, new Alts could see the light in Milan, where they are awaiting permits, and in other Italian and European cities, in particular Berlin, Munich and Vienna.

“After the first store opened last September in Rome, this inauguration on the Roman coast is Alt Stazione del Gusto's second step towards diffusion on a national scale which we will carry forward with the Niko Romito Academy, with which we share the spirit of innovation and by attention to customer needs”, declared Enilive's CEO, Stefano Ballista.

“Alt is a project created to talk - with a simple gastronomic language - about quality food to as many people as possible.

And for this reason it finds its ideal location on the road, because the roads belong to everyone", says Niko Romito.

The project foresees one hundred openings in four years.

A stone's throw from the Ostia pier and the Lungomare Paolo Toscanelli, ALT Stazione del Gusto offers a menu that ranges from breakfast to dinner, with a gastronomic offer to be enjoyed at the table, in an informal and welcoming atmosphere, or to take away.

It is a one-of-a-kind catering model.

The project was born in 2018, in Abruzzo, from an idea by Chef Niko Romito: he applies the creativity and technique of an Italian chef who is a symbol of research and gastronomic sensitivity, to a series of proposals that transform stopping at Enilive service stations into a tasty experience.

“Enilive is already a point of reference for people on the move and from today, in Ostia, it can also be a point of reference for restaurants.

The Enilive Station in Piazzale della Posta has been open since the 1960s and the fact that it was chosen to host ALT Stazione del Gusto is a perfect example of the evolution underway in our stations: no longer just places to get a quick refueling but mobility point' where you can find products and services useful for simplifying and enriching the lives of people on the move, said the CEO of Enilive Ballista, CEO.

For the new Eni company for sustainable mobility, founded in January, the collaboration with the Niko Romito Academy is part of the process of renewing and expanding the offer of services in the network of over 5,000 points of sale in Europe, of which over 4,000 in Italy.

In the Enilive Station in Piazzale della Posta, in Ostia, in addition to traditional fuels, HVOlution is also available for delivery, the 100% diesel biofuel from renewable raw materials, mainly waste and residues.

At the station it is also possible to pay postal bills and use the special lockers to collect parcels.
