Door locked.
This Thursday, it was impossible to freely access the office of MP (LFI) Farida Amrani, based in Évry-Courcouronnes.
“It’s the first time,” argues the Essonne parliamentarian.
Usually it's always open here.
But we’re obviously careful…”
This is because the habits of the MP and her team were turned upside down at the start of the week.
Late Monday afternoon, one of his parliamentary attachés was the victim of an attack in the premises on rue Emmanuel-Pastré.
“He told me that if I talked about it, he would find me”
“It was 6:45 p.m., I was alone in the office, putting away my things,” recounts this young woman of 27 years.
An imposing, hooded man entered.
He looked around him.
Then he came to me in my office with a threatening tone.
» The intruder asks the collaborator if she “has nothing of interest (for him)”.
“I thought it was a burglary, but he was not at all interested in computers, phones…”
What follows takes a more worrying turn.
The man, "looking uninhibited", searches in the office and in the young woman's bag, takes a photo of her identity papers, appears abrupt.
Then he leaves, empty-handed, “telling me that if I told anyone, they would find me.”
The victim was not injured but remains “very shocked” after this intimidation.
My press release in reaction to the attack on my parliamentary colleague, which occurred yesterday in my office in Évry-Courcouronnes.
We will not give in to any political intimidation.

The Évry-Courcouronnes police intervened in the evening to collect the young woman's testimony and take note of any fingerprints left by the author.
An investigation was opened, the man is still wanted.
His motivations remain very unclear.
One thing is certain: he knew the habits of the members of Farida Amrani’s team very well: “He told me how I was going to work, how many of us there were, etc.
», breathes the victim.
“It’s very serious,” reacts Farida Amrani.
Politics is violent, I have already been personally attacked (

).
But let people attack my teams, within my office, I can't.
» For what purpose did the author act?
“For me, this is clearly political intimidation.
A climate of tension has set in in Évry-Courcouronnes.
This is the result.

The mayor of Évry reacts
A barely veiled allusion to the regular clashes between the MP, also an opposition municipal councilor, and the mayor (LR) Stéphane Beaudet.
Did the elected official feel targeted by Farida Amrani's public statements?
On his social networks, Stéphane Beaudet gave his support to the MP's clan, while attacking the "tone" used, "ambiguous and imprecise" according to him.
“It’s either clumsy or unworthy,” said the mayor of Évry-Courcouronnes.
Atmosphere…
The victim of the attack is on sick leave.
Due to the threats made by the author, she has benefited from police protection for two days.
“We are talking about attacks on elected officials, less on their collaborators,” regrets the young woman, who is campaigning for the establishment of “functional protection” for parliamentary attachés, as there is for elected officials.
