It is said that King Charles is already working in the background.
But only Camilla knows how he is doing.
She revealed details about the monarch's condition at an appointment.
Salisbury - While King Charles (75) is digesting the shock of his cancer diagnosis and prostate operation in Sandringham, Queen Camilla (76) is busy beeing.
Despite adverse circumstances: five hours' drive from Sandringham House, she welcomed representatives of the air ambulance at a musical evening in Salisbury Cathedral.
On the sidelines of the appointment, she spoke about the condition of the ailing monarch.
What is really the situation with King Charles?
Camilla explains
Responding to a concerned query from an intensive care paramedic from Wiltshire Air Ambulance, she said: "He is doing very well given the circumstances." He was very touched by all the letters and messages that the public have been sending from all over.
That is very gratifying.
However, Camilla's arrival was less pleasant.
The helipad was flooded, so the monarch had to make a five-hour drive to honor the work of the local charity.
Nevertheless, Camilla looked perfect in her white coat from Fiona Clare Couture and high black boots from Russel and Bromley (521 euros).
The date had long been set for the Queen to attend the evening of music celebrating the work of three Wiltshire charities.
An insider revealed, according to

: "She feared a last-minute cancellation would cause all sorts of concern for His Majesty, who is actually doing well."

The Regent's wife is also likely to be weighed down by the week since the palace informed the public of Charles' cancer diagnosis.
But due to the persistent rainy weather, their visit almost didn't happen.
She is a firm supporter of the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Community First, as well as the regimental charities of the Grenadier Guards and The Rifles, and didn't want to turn it down.

Charles had to go without Camilla for one night.
She stayed at Ray Mill, her private home nearby, and will return to Sandringham on Friday (February 9) to see her husband again.

Despite canceling all of his appointments, Prince William had agreed to represent Papa Charles at his appointment at Windsor Castle and thus held the fort in London.
The king's second son also jetted to London to be at his father's side in these difficult times.
But it was only a flying visit to London.
After 45 minutes, Charles, who was suffering from cancer, left for Sandringham and Harry rushed to the airport to get home to Los Angeles more quickly.
