Andrea Kiewel actually wanted to give the pop star a surprise, but then “Kiwi's big party night” almost ended in an accident for Howard Carpendale.
Berlin – On Friday (February 9, 2024) “Kiwi’s big party night” started the third round with “ZDF- Fernsehengarten” presenter Andrea Kiewel (58).
One of the guests: Schlager legend Howard Carpendale (78).
The musician was given a rich gift by the Berliner on the 40th anniversary of his hit “Hello again” – and then got involved in a breakdown.
But the show host paid little attention to it.

In mid-January, Sat.1 announced the first invited celebrities for Andrea Kiewel's February party night, including hit icon Howard Carpendale.
For 40 years of “Hello again”, the pop star was able to be celebrated by Andrea Kiewel and her party night guests on Sat.1.
There was even a gift for the “Ti amo” interpreter.

Andrea Kiewel personally drove a multi-tiered cake surrounded by candles onto the party stage on a serving trolley.
Of course, Carpendale thanked him for the gesture and they talked about the background story to his mega hit.
At the end of the conversation it happened: The 78-year-old wanted to give Andrea Kiewel a hand and push the serving trolley in her direction.
The pop star didn't look too closely and reached directly into the candle fire with his right hand.

“Whoa!” was the reaction of the “ZDF television garden” presenter to the near accident.
She ignored what was happening, pulled the trolley with the cake towards her and continued her moderation unwaveringly.
And Howard Carpendale?
He also left the breakdown uncommented.
The pop star instead worried about Andrea Kiewel and asked the 58-year-old if she could handle the car.

Incidentally, “Kiwi’s big party night” with Andrea Kiewel is less well received by Sat.1 viewers.
Three episodes have been broadcast so far, and on March 1, 2024, the private broadcaster will show the last episode of the party spectacle for the time being.
