The fall of the omnibus law in Deputies had an impact on the government of Javier Milei, who this Friday afternoon once again crossed the legislators who voted against the project.
"We are not going to be accomplices in the game of the same old parasites,"
wrote the President, from Rome, in a long message.
In the text, he pointed out against what he continues to call "caste", between politicians and business interests.
And he stated: "We designed an economic program to exterminate inflation
without the need for Congress
or any of those who intend to continue living like kings at the expense of taxpayers."
And he redoubled his message to national legislators: "They will have to choose which side they are on."

The national government assumed the responsibility of fixing three fundamental problems that our country suffers: inflation, insecurity and the privileges of politicians.
We came to propose a model different from the impoverishing model of the last 100 years. And we came to do it for the Argentines. With the truth in one hand and freedom in the other.
We did not come here to continue playing the same impoverishing game played by politicians as always. We did not come here to make spurious pacts against the interests of the Argentines. And we are not going to be accomplices in the game of the same old parasites who live at the expense of the Argentines.
The government sent a bill to the National Congress to return freedom to Argentines. Our country project is reflected in that bill. A free country, where citizens can live their lives without depending on a bureaucrat who asks for a bribe to release an import. The government does not need the law. The Argentines need it. And we are going to get it, sooner or later. Because the will of a convinced few is more powerful than that of many without principles or morals.
What happened in Congress perfectly represents the problem we are facing. A group of politicians who will do everything possible to maintain their privileges. The caste. We have been saying it since we got into politics. We knew what was going to happen.

Throughout the campaign we said that we were going to send our projects to Congress and politicians were going to have to decide which side of History they wanted to be on. Whether they wanted to be part of the change or wanted to continue maintaining their privileges. We also said that if they did not accompany the changes, we were going to expose them to society so that their dealings, privileges and corruption would be exposed.
And that's what we're going to do. We are not going to be complicit in the business of some with the fishing industry, with the Tobacco Lord, with the oil companies or with any of the other special interests that lobby and “persuade” politicians to defend their interests.
For many years there was a group of politicians in Argentina who claim to represent moderation, dialogue, consensus and common sense, who all they do is guarantee the status quo in exchange for personal business. Automotive registrations, lithium concessions, distribution of envelopes to journalists and many other businesses that some politicians do while "defending the Republic" on television.
All that is over with us. If they have a problem with us exposing what they do, how they vote and to whom they respond, it is because they are not defending the interests of the Nation, but their own.
We did not come to continue with the usual political game. We came to break it. We don't care about operations, slander, newspaper headlines. We don't care about the pressures of those who destroyed this country. We are not playing a game. We do not mind paying the political cost of doing what needs to be done because our objective is to solve the problems of Argentines and not perpetuate ourselves in power.
We come to change this country. With the same conviction that our Heroes of May had, we come to defend The Cause of Freedom.
They will have to choose which side they are on. The Argentines already know which side we are on and we are going to sue them.
