Miesbach – On Monday there was an accident between a car and a cyclist in Miesbach.

The boy was hit by the car and he and another boy then drove away.

On Monday (February 5th) an accident occurred between a car and a cyclist in Miesbach above the Lebzelterberg at around 4:35 p.m.

“A Miesbach woman was turning her Peugeot from Schmiedgasse up to the town square,” explains the Miesbach police.

At that moment, two older children or young teenagers were “riding their bikes on the sidewalk in front of a restaurant there towards Unterer Markt.”

Immediately at the corner of the house, the first of the two cyclists hit the fender of the car and fell over the hood to the ground.

The second cyclist stopped in time.

Cyclists drove away after accident

“The two boys spoke to the senior citizen and assured her that they were fine,” the report states.

They also gave the driver parts that had broken off her Peugeot.

The damage to the vehicle amounts to around 500 euros.

The two cyclists then drove away.

Police are asking for information

The Miesbach police are looking for the two cyclists, who are around twelve years old, and are asking anyone who witnessed the accident to contact the police on 08025/2990.
