France, in particular, believes that this century-old idea remains the only possible one for the region.
The reappearance of the Palestinian question, wrongly confined to the category of semi-frozen conflicts easy to ignore, the return of the repressed, have allowed the resurrection of old peace plans buried by the failure of the Oslo Accords of 1993 and the the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin two years later.
