PISTOIA - The collective exhibition of paintings and sculptures 'Pinocchio and the Carabinieri' opens tomorrow 10 February at the San Giorgio Library in Pistoia, which brings together works by Italian and foreign artists inspired by Carlo Collodi's novel where in the plot the puppet has to do with the police.
The works, all contemporary, are created with various pictorial techniques but all in the same format (50x40 cm), the sculptures are free-sized.
The exhibition, curated by Filippo Lotti, is organized by the Carlo Collodi National Foundation on the initiative of president Pier Francesco Bernacchi.
It will continue until March 2nd.
The event has the patronage of the Carabinieri.
The works on display are either from the Carlo Collodi National Foundation or new works by artists involved in the initiative.
