For years, Poing has been considered one of the most children and highest birth rates in Germany.
In 2023 there were 155 births.
However, this number is a long way from the record.
Poing – At the end of 2023 (key date: December 31st), the municipality of Poing had 17,249 residents with their main and/or secondary residence.
In January the number shrank by 18 to 17,231 (as of January 31st).
The 85 departures that the residents' registration office registered in January are likely to be responsible for this.
Most of the time there are more immigrants, but the number was 65 in January. 14 births were registered in January and 10 deaths.
In the annual balance sheet for 2023, the number of people moving in (1,429) is significantly higher than that of moving away (1,186).
There were 383 moves within the municipal area last year. Two more figures from 2023: 155 births and 106 deaths.
Incidentally, the birth record in the municipality of Poing occurred exactly ten years ago: 193 babies were born in 2014.
