Hundreds of ultra-Orthodox demonstrators from an extreme faction arrived tonight (Friday) at the intersection of Yehezkel and Shmuel Hanevi streets in Jerusalem, protesting publications according to which the police intend to perform an autopsy on the body of a Harish resident who was found lifeless in his home yesterday.
Violent physical confrontations between the protesters and the police forces developed on the spot, and some of the brains set trash cans on fire and even smashed the windows of a bus passing by.
Yesterday, the prosecutor's office withdrew its request to analyze the body of the 13-year-old boy from Beit Shemesh, who died of unknown causes - after the police and the prosecutor's office carried out the procedure due to "suspicions requiring an autopsy."
Since the state's request yesterday to carry out the procedure, dozens of ultra-Orthodox in Jerusalem have started protests in the city.
A few minutes before the opening of the hearing of the appeal in the Supreme Court on the matter - as mentioned, the representative of the attorney's office informed the representative of the legal department of Zaka, attorney Dror Shusheim, that there is no need to perform the autopsy.
When the prelates were restored, the ZAKA announced that his body would be released for burial at the Mount of Reposes in Jerusalem.

The police explained the U-turn.
According to them, close to the hearing of the appeal on the subject of the boy's autopsy, the prosecutor's office informed the police that their position had changed in view of the findings of the medical tests that had been carried out and indicated that the cause of the boy's death was infection.
Therefore, it was decided that the prosecutor's office decided to withdraw the appeal.
