History will tell if the Raymond-Valenet club will one day bear the symbolism of the Jeu de Paume hall for those who demand more democracy.
Saturday afternoon, around a hundred “angry” Insoumis and ex-Insoumis activists gathered in this small room in Gagny (Seine-Saint-Denis), after having published in May 2023 an “appeal for a sixth Republic within LFI”, signed by nearly 450 people, in the face of the “locking” of the organization by Jean-Luc Mélenchon and his relatives.

On site, none of the “figures” of LFI, even the “rebellious” deputies, passed a head.
But MP Raquel Garrido, very critical of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, still sent them a message of encouragement on strong democracy for our country and therefore for ourselves.
We must listen to and respect comrades who campaign voluntarily (…) Thank you for their efforts to do better.
» The organizers of the event, in which activists from all territories participated, admit to having refused to invite LFI “leaders”, to avoid any “recovery”.
