Donald Trump was quick to criticize Joe Biden on Friday evening.
During his visit to Pennsylvania, in Harrisburg, the former President of the United States (2017-2021) first introduced himself as
“the best friend that
gun owners
have ever had in the House- Blanche”,
during a speech to the NRA (National Rifle Association, a particularly influential pro-gun organization in the United States).
But the 77-year-old businessman didn't just talk about guns.
The Republican pointed to the decision of a special prosecutor who dismissed the investigation into the mismanagement of confidential documents by Joe Biden.
The prosecutor had described the current president as an “elderly man with a bad memory”.
Donald Trump considers himself the victim of unfair treatment, he who is still ineligible for the next presidential election, in particular for a case of confidential documents found in Mar-a-Lagos, his stronghold in Florida.
“If he is not charged, it is up to them to decide,”
he told a crowd of thousands of supporters.
But in this case, I should not be charged.”
“The most corrupt president in the history of our country”
“
It is nothing other than a selective persecution of their political opponent, that is to say me,”
assured the arch-favorite of the Republican primaries, targeting those close to the president.
I don’t think it’s (Joe) Biden, because I don’t think he knows he’s alive.”
The billionaire did not stop there and punctuated his 70-minute speech with attacks against the current president.
He notably accused him of being the
“most incompetent and corrupt president in the history of our country”
.
Before playing vaticinators: according to him, if Joe Biden were to serve a second term, the United States would have
“100% chance of being the target of a terrorist attack”
and seeing the outbreak of a Third War worldwide.
All while asking the crowd to boo the
“fake news”
media .
