Since announcing his cancer diagnosis, King Charles has received a flood of well-wishes.
Goddaughter India Hicks also expressed her condolences, but with an image that raises some questions.
London - Since Monday (February 5th), King Charles (75) has been the recipient of an enormous wave of sympathy and countless wishes for a speedy recovery.
The monarch had made his cancer diagnosis public, but did not reveal the type of cancer.
A large number of politicians, members of the royal family and private individuals expressed their support and gratitude for his openness.
India Hicks (56), the monarch's godchild, also posted a line and a photo on her Instagram channel that was a bit irritating at first glance.
India Hicks was happy to have Charles as her attentive godfather
At the age of 13, India Hicks (53) was asked by her godfather and second cousin, the then Prince Charles, if she would like to be a bridesmaid at his wedding.
Together with Sarah Chatto (59), India had the task of taking care of Princess Diana's (36, † 1997) train.
Her mother, Pamela Hicks (94), is the cousin of the late Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip (99, † 2021).
The renowned author and mother of five children is the wife of David Flint Wood (62).
She continues to maintain a close relationship with the British royal family and has credited Charles as a caring godfather, sending her loving gifts on birthdays and Christmas over the years.

The photograph Hicks chose for her brief “Thoughts and Prayers” get well wishes is a bit confusing at first glance.
It shows an old summer photo in which the current king stands in front of a building without outer clothing and has placed his hands on the shoulders of the then young India.
Other people can be seen in the background, but their identities remain hidden.
India is dressed in a light yellow T-shirt with “India” written on it.
It seems as if the aristocrat simply wanted to demonstrate closeness with this choice of image.
As a sign of sympathy, it's definitely unusual.
