Due to a strange accident at the Ebersberg S-Bahn station, train services had to be stopped for a short time.

Early on Friday afternoon, S-Bahn services on lines 4 and 6 had to be stopped for half an hour.
Because an 81-year-old driver drove into a fence at Ebersberg train station.
Ebersberg - Curious accident at the S-Bahn station in Ebersberg on Friday, around 1:40 p.m.: An 81-year-old driver slipped off the brake pedal, whereupon the car lurched forward and hit a metal fence - it fell onto the tracks.
“The train service then had to be stopped for around 30 minutes until the grille could be removed again,” writes the Ebersberg police station in the press report.
A chain reaction of a different kind.
The person who caused the accident was uninjured and, according to the police, the car suffered damage amounting to 5,000 euros.
The car had to be towed away.
