Munich / Bangkok Airport - Horrible incident on a Lufthansa flight.
As the Swiss newspaper
Blick
reports, a dramatic incident occurred on board a German airline's A380 on February 8th.
Flight LH 773 was actually supposed to fly from the Thai capital towards Munich late in the evening.
Shortly after take-off, over the Bay of Bengal, the plane turned around, as a flight log from the industry portal
flightradar24
shows.
The tragic reason: a death on board.
Drama on Lufthansa flight from Bangkok to Munich: German dies on board shortly after takeoff
As
Blick
reports, some passengers noticed a 63-year-old German man before take-off, whose health was said to be poor.
The paper quotes eyewitnesses who report a man who appeared “apathetic” and was breathing much too quickly.
A concerned Lufthansa flight attendant is said to have looked after the man, but after a brief assessment she decided to let the German fly with him.

Nightmare on Lufthansa flight: German spits blood and dies shortly after take-off
It goes on to say that frightened passengers demanded that a doctor be sent to the man.
The flight captain is said to have asked for one via an announcement, whereupon a 30-year-old Pole is said to have answered.
As eyewitnesses further report to
Blick
, the doctor then simply measured the man's pulse and asked the man about his state of health - and then gave his "okay" for the flight, which turned out to be a tragic misjudgment.
As the Swiss newspaper further reports, the man spat blood into a bag shortly after take-off. “It was horror,” the paper quoted eyewitnesses as saying.
Flight attendants are said to have initiated resuscitation measures - but in vain.
The man on board died after about half an hour.
He was carried into the galley before the A380 touched down again in Bangkok.
The crane airline confirmed the incident to the Swiss newspaper.
