There is a festive atmosphere, and of great hope, in the Rione Gescal, a cluster of houses between the neighborhoods of Miano and Secondigliano, in the northern area of Naples, where Geolier took his first artistic steps chasing the dream, now realized, of becoming a rap music star: his friends, relatives and fans gathered in an arcade to rally around their young hero who tries to win the Sanremo Festival.
The girls wear a white t-shirt with the image of Geolier accompanied by a 4 printed on a shield: Geolier's victory, in fact, would be the fourth.
Many have a hat with Emanuele's photo.
The streets of the neighborhood have been covered with posters and banners for days.
The cake featuring the rapper from Miano together with Maradona, the symbolic mural of this meeting point, is already ready.
It was the councilor of the seventh municipality, Marco Quercia, who wanted it, together with the boys.
Here we also talk about the Ariston boos and the controversies that erupted after the victory on the cover evening, but above all we perceive the desire to make the joy explode.
"Emanuele is a strong boy - says Quercia - and he has shown that he is humble. Better not to add anything to the boos and controversies. Emanuele responded in the best way possible, with his humility".
What matters is that she is now in Sanremo: "O primm napulitan... a ci j co napulitan", or "The first Neapolitan to go there with the Neapolitan", they say, borrowing that perhaps unorthodox dialect for which she was taken of aim "I p' me, tu p' te".
However, now enthusiasm reigns supreme: "From the Gescal district to the roof of the world".
Regardless of how it ends because, we read on a banner, "For us you have already won!"
