The agency today issued a

yellow level alert

for rain for part of the Buenos Aires suburbs, while the eastern and coastal area of ​​the province of Buenos Aires is under an

orange warning.

Due to the yellow alert for rain that the agency warned for

Seven other provinces under yellow alert for storms

The SMN also issued yellow alerts for storms for this Saturday in the provinces of Río Negro, San Luis, Mendoza, Tucumán, Catamarca, Salta and Jujuy.

In San Luis it will affect the west in localities such as the low areas of Belgrano, Juan Martín de Pueyrredón and Gobernador Dupuy where it was warned that the storms will be isolated, some locally strong with occasional hail, strong electrical activity and strong gusts.

The heat wave does not stop on the Coast

The provinces of Formosa, Corrientes, eastern Salta, northern and southern Chaco, northeastern Santa Fe, eastern Entre Ríos and southern Misiones are under red alert due to extreme heat, while northern Misiones shares that same warning along with the yellow and orange level, the SMN reported today.

The red level alert implies "very dangerous" temperatures that "can affect all people, even healthy ones."

This warning extends to the provinces of Corrientes, Formosa, the Salta town of Rivadavia;
