The funeral of Santina Delai, the 78-year-old killed on Wednesday at dawn in Puegnago del Garda, in the Brescia area, will be celebrated on Tuesday afternoon.
The old woman's only son, Mauro Pedrotti, 54, was arrested 24 hours later for premeditated voluntary homicide and confessed to the crime.
In the funeral announcements online and posted in the town, the 78-year-old's death is announced by her son Mauro and his wife as well as the victim's sisters.
"On Sunday 28 January I had argued with my mother about the fact that I wanted to sell my house and she didn't agree.
I suffered from this last discussion. I killed her because I was fed up with her character, she commanded me to do everything " confessed Mauro Pedrotti, who strangled his mother and then staged a robbery in the house.
