Although King Charles is suffering from cancer, he continues to take care of the affairs of state.

Not an easy situation, as his first official statement after the diagnosis shows.

London – King Charles III

(75) doesn't want to let his cancer get him down.

This was already evident in the official statement from Buckingham Palace informing the public of the cancer diagnosis.

King Charles has already started treatment, but will “carry out state affairs and official paperwork as usual.” The monarch has now proven this.

“Take care of yourself and enjoy the time with your family, that’s the most important thing,” one fan tells King Charles.

However, Prince William (41) also has his wife Kate (42), whom he has to look after after her abdominal surgery.

For Prince Harry (39), Charles' cancer could be the last chance to regain trust, but after his quick visit he has already said goodbye to California.

But at least Queen Camilla (76) doesn't seem to be leaving King Charles' side during this difficult time.
