Karl Neuner has been with Stadtwerke © Stadtwerke since 2004
Interim successor Karl Neuner officially takes over one of the two board positions.
Weilheim
– After the early death of Peter Müller at the age of 59 after a serious illness, Stadtwerke Weilheim Energie GmbH was managed on an interim basis by long-standing authorized representative Karl Neuner.
During the transition period, the business of the Stadtwerke Weilheim municipal company was managed by the two authorized representatives Veronika Schrepfer and Stefan Herbst.
On Thursday, the city council changed the corporate statutes of Stadtwerke Weilheim so that the board of directors of Stadtwerke will in future consist of two members.
The board of directors has appointed Neuner as technical director of Stadtwerke Weilheim and technical managing director of Stadtwerke Weilheim Energie GmbH.
With the municipal utilities since 2004
Neuner has been working at Weilheim municipal utilities since 2004 and took over management of the depot in 2008.
“I am very pleased about the new member of the board and management and would like to warmly congratulate Mr. Neuner,” said Mayor Markus Loth.
“I would like to thank the Weilheim city council for their trust,” Neuner is quoted as saying in a statement.
He is looking forward to “successfully continuing the business and projects of the Stadtwerke as a municipal company and of SWE as a modern energy supplier together with the extremely committed Stadtwerke employees”.
This means that the newly created second board position is still missing.
Until then, the position of commercial director of Stadtwerke Weilheim and commercial managing director of Stadtwerke Weilheim Energie GmbH will also be held by Neuner on an interim basis.
