This is only a partial list of technological items developed by the Halacha and Technology section of the military rabbinate in recent years for use on Shabbat, and now during the war they have become especially popular with the soldiers and at bases throughout the country.
The section develops and produces technological halachic solutions that enable Shabbat observance in the routine of activity.
For example, "Telefon Shabbat" makes it possible to answer phones while minimizing the desecration of the Sabbath.
In the case of the "Et Shabbat" it is a product developed "for essential needs" so that it reduces the severity of the prohibition to write on Shabbat by dissipating the ink.
Writing with this pen is suitable for information that does not need to be kept for a long time, and it is very useful in army headquarters and headquarters.

The section also developed a product that is particularly useful at the entrances to IDF camps: a "gate switch" that allows the opening and closing of an electric gate. In addition, there is a product called an "optical Shabbat coder" that allows entry with the help of a code to isolated places without closing an electrical circuit, in a way that reduces the desecration of the Sabbath.
