Egmatinger family is missing two valuable pedigree animals.

Egmating
– Sad children, a perplexed mother.
Within a short time, two pedigree cats disappeared without a trace in Egmating.
All efforts to find her again have so far been unsuccessful.
A reward of 1000 euros is offered.
Owner suspects theft
Owner Barbara Hanekroot even suspects that someone in Egmating and the surrounding area is deliberately stealing cats.
“Our neighbors’ cat also disappeared without a trace a few months ago.” Kaleo the cat has been gone since June 26th, 2023, and the shy Malu cat has been gone since February 6th.
So two missing animals within eight months.
Valuable animals
Both are valuable Bengal cats.
“Mind you, a cat like this costs 1,700 euros,” says Hanekroot.
“We consciously chose this breed.” Above all because of its character.
“They are very cuddly.” The tomcats slept in bed with their two sons (5 and 9 years old).
The boys are now dead sad.
The family had a total of five animals of the same breed.
Currently there are only three left.
“They are actually all outdoor animals and were allowed to go out.
After all, we live in the country.” The family house is on the outskirts of the community.
Two of the remaining animals must now stay indoors, and another cat is only allowed outside under observation.
Sniffer dogs used
The family even brought in special sniffer dogs to find the missing cats.
“There is a voluntary association that offers support.” However, there was no result.
"Nothing was found."
Search advertisements were launched on the Internet on relevant well-known sites.
Also here so far there has been no report.
Police have been informed
The police also informed the family.
The Ebersberg inspection confirmed receipt of the request.
However, there is no evidence, according to information provided to the Ebersberger Zeitung.
In addition, it is not known that more cats have disappeared recently, officials said when asked.

Animals are chipped
Both cats are chipped, according to the family.
For example, if the animals had been run over and found, there should have been a clue.
“But the chip is not like a cell phone that you can locate.” All you can tell is who the animal belongs to.
Wanted posters were torn down
“We really did everything possible,” says Barbara Hanekroot.
“We called the animal shelters and asked the foresters.
We put up notices.” Some of these were torn down.
“We replaced them again.” The offer of a finder’s fee still applies.
“We’re hoping for news.”
