"A winter mist, in a beech forest. Blurred, unclear images, and the details: of the hands, the wrists, the legs, the backs of the neck. And then again, excited, irregular, tense movements. The darkness. The silence".
It is with the short film by the students of the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin that the Ministry of University and Research celebrates Remembrance Day today.
"A raw, strong, significant interpretation. A collective artistic work by the young students of Turin - explains a note - to keep alive the memory of the tragedy of the Italians and of all the victims of the Foibe and of the exodus from Istria, Fiume and Dalmatia".
The video, about a minute of film, was created by the students of the Digital Applications for Visual Arts course.
Professor Gerardo De Pasquale will lead them.
The Albertina Academy is directed by Salvo Bitonti.
