Things got busy again at the Hague Women's Carnival.

The acting troupe in particular was in top form - with an extraterrestrial performance.

Hague

- Party until the early hours of the morning: the traditional women's carnival of the Hague Catholic Women's Association was lively again on Nonsense Thursday.

There was a lot of dancing and swaying together in the multi-purpose hall.

Elegant or disreputable: every mask was welcome.

The club's acting troupe was back in top form.

The women played the alien invasion with imaginative costumes.

About the plot: Two female aliens land in a small town in the Ampertal because they want to discover life on planets near and far.

Dagmar Prohaska, Christa Schauer and Marianne Lerchl came up with the funny story when preparations for the women's carnival began last year.

Without a “network”, without a connection to space, the strangers have to find their way on earth.

And that wasn't difficult.

Thanks to the help of the Hague women, they were quickly integrated into society.

The sketch was of course a little “hint,” said women’s association chairwoman Marianne Schwaiger.

The women have been volunteering for more than 50 years so that new residents can quickly find their place in the village.

However, it is now difficult to get young women interested in board work, says Schwaiger, who, together with her “vice” Renate Sorg, no longer wants to run in next year’s board elections.

There was also a lot of applause for the Nandlstadt prince couple Franziska I. and Sebastian II, who created a “mega” atmosphere in the multi-purpose hall with the Narrhalla Nandlstadt program.

The troupe has been a welcome guest at the women's carnival for many years.

“This is an integral part of every foolish season,” said Nandlstadt’s court marshal Maximilian Sittenauer.

Fueled by the groovy sound provided by DJ Matthias, the women celebrated and danced until dawn.
