The MDA medic who arrived at the scene, Amir Elisha, said that he saw Pepini lying on the ground unconscious. "We gave him life-saving medical treatment," he repeated. and not stable".

Nine months ago, a 54-year-old man was killed and another man was seriously injured in the crash of a light plane in an open area north of the Yiftach camp, near Rosh Pina.

The man who was killed is Tal ben Yosef, a resident of Beit Hashmonai.

Paramedics from the MDA helicopter that landed at the scene of the incident provided medical treatment to the two victims who were trapped under the plane. One injured person arrived at Ziv Hospital in Safed and was admitted to a trauma room, after which the medical staff had to pronounce him dead.



The police informed that the pilot reported to the airport authority about the forced landing - and after Contact with him was then cut off. The Northern District police began searching the area and located the plane. The police forces are on the scene and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated.



The chairman of the Beit Hashmonai committee, Odel Avitan, wrote to the members of the community following the accident: "We are shocked, pained and heartbroken upon learning of the death of Tal ben Yosef. Tal was an exemplary family man, a member of the local committee and a beloved man in the community and he will be greatly missed. We share in the grief of the family and friends."
