As part of its French-speaking film festival for young people, the municipality organized this Saturday afternoon a free cinema dubbing workshop in this Arthouse room bought by the municipality at the end of the 1990s. The festival will close with the screening of the film “Comme un prince” (2023) by Ali Marhyar, partly filmed in Les Mureaux.

“The idea is to educate young people to make them aware of the different facets of cinema, to show them that it encompasses several professions,” explains Mohamed Bensouda, Francophonie, international relations and language learning project manager at Les Mureaux.
He is the one who oversees the festival, designed to promote the French language and French-speaking cinema.
The event, coupled with a short film competition of which all the works will be broadcast this Tuesday*, allows you to discover “films from around the world, accessible to all generations”.
“Last year, we recorded around 1,300 entries,” emphasizes Mohamed Bensouda.
We are in the third edition and attendance is increasing.
