16 groups, on carts or on foot.
Plus a samba combo.
And around 3,000 spectators.
The Penzberger Gaudiwurm brought carnival to the city center.
Including a golden vision for the urban future.
The Penzberg carnival reached its climax on Sunday (February 11th) before it entered the last crazy days: The Gaudiwurm transformed the city center into a crazy stage. According to the police's initial estimate, around 3,000 spectators lined the Karl-, Philipp - and Bahnhofstrasse.
A total of 17 groups and one band registered.
From the parent councils to the fire brigade to the water rescue service and young riders.
The charming tank busters from Penzberg Miteinander also brought the money to the people.

Golden times without a district
CSU and Penzberg together showed that they can do more than just dry city politics.
The Christian Socialists had the financial solution for Penzberg: the “Pexit”.
The municipality should simply leave the district and use the gold saved sensibly.
Penzberg Miteinander invited people to the Wheel of Fortune with great suggestions for budget consolidation.
The samba group of the Penzberg marching band was there again after 2020.
The drummers warmed up participants and spectators alike with South American rhythms.
