This morning (Sunday), a police force, MGB and IDF cleared protesters who had camped at the Kerem Shalom crossing in order to block the movement of trucks carrying humanitarian aid to Gaza.
The evacuation was done without the use of physical force and while talking to the protestors.
A large police force carried out the evacuation task and the IDF force prevented more brains from arriving, and cleared the crossing area of tents and other equipment. 18 protesters who refused to evacuate at the end of negotiations were taken to the police station.
It has been about a month that protesters have been gathering every day at the Kerem Shalom crossing to protest the transfer of humanitarian aid to Gaza. Among those protesting: families of abductees, bereaved families, residents of the Gaza Strip and right-wing activists, most of them from the 'Order 9' movement.
