6,000 spectators watched the carnival parade through Lenggries on Sunday.
The new Lenggrieser nursing home lost its fat, as did the Tölzer Hotel Bergeblick and federal politics.
Lenggries – The Isarwinkel is not necessarily considered a carnival stronghold.
On Sunday afternoon, however, it became clear that there are also many people here who like to be carried away by the atmosphere.
According to the organizers' estimates, around 6,000 spectators lined the streets to watch the carnival procession through the center of Lenggries.

This was what a carnival procession should be: colorful, happy, silly and now and then a little bit evil - without overshooting the mark: “We are extremely satisfied,” summed up Benedikt Pföderl, second chairman of the carnival society “Mia san's”.
The first chairman Michael Gascha saw it the same way: “We always ask ourselves for fun: Why are we doing such nonsense?
Now we know.”

What was striking was how much attention to detail the cars were designed with.
They made fun of local political issues as well as federal politics.
The Tölzers also got their fat off.
Hotel operator Johannes Tien was sitting in a gold suit on a wagon in front of a replica of his Hotel Bergeblick, which the people of Lenggries quickly renamed “Hotel Strahlblick” due to its unusual architecture.
Framed by a city councilor pulling Tien's wagon and the saying: "For a new hotel, we'll let ourselves be hitched to any cart."
It wasn't just these women dressed up in masks who were in a good mood.

A carriage was dedicated to the speed of the Leonhardi ride: “If the horse is too fast, there will be someone who will complain.” And: “If you are a rider in a hurry, we will continue on foot next year.”
Exciting topic in Lenggries: nursing home without a kitchen
The exciting topic surrounding the planned Lenggries nursing home was also taken up: “Building a nursing home without a kitchen – you have to trust that,” wrote the Maschkera and predicted that it would be supplied by the star chefs Henssler, Schuhbeck and Rosin and a delivery service: “He did If the resident suffers distress (hunger), he gets the Lieferando number.”

Another carriage was dedicated to Hohenburg Castle, which is open to boys.
A classroom was set up, divided by bars, in which the girls were taught knitting, make-up and wellness and the boys were taught sheep's heads, snuff and finger hooks, accompanied by a poster with the inscription: “De Leni and Lisa are now happy, in the Neighbors now sit there Bene and a da Seppi.” And: “Da Isarwinkel isn’t dying out, Hohenburg is now bringing de Buam into the house.”
Carnival procession: mockery of the cycle path from Tölz to Lenggries
Wonderful is the car that was dedicated to building the cycle path between Bad Tölz and Lenggries and the traffic light that stood on the B13 for weeks: “Red traffic light – construction site dead.” You can see on the car: construction workers wrapped in cobwebs.
Behind it is a skeleton sitting on a bicycle.
There was also room for nonsense, such as the shaking rhyme written on an oversized poster: “If you fry someone else's bratwurst, you have a bratwurst fryer.”

A key step forward for every carnival parade is of course the legalization of cannabis, which the people of Lenggries commented: “Beer makes you fat, schnapps makes you sick – I’m a stoner, thank God.”

A replica of the Old Court Pharmacy was quickly renamed “Alte Hanf Apotheke”.
The “Political Circus Berlin” with “Clown Olaf and his Ministers of Fun” got its fat, including the bear Annalena, who “screws everything up”.
And in the direction of the FDP: “Egg nog has a higher percentage than the FDP.
And he has balls.”

“Everyone worked their asses off to make it the way it did,” commented Pföderl, who highlighted the support from the fire brigade, building depot, police and Red Cross: “It’s unbelievable what they did.” Added together with the numerous helpers There were 1,000 participants in the 21 cars and 21 foot groups.
Gascha commented: “The concept of the auxiliary staff and the carnival club worked.”
The carnival procession was also dedicated to the theme of 100 years of Disney.
