Colorful Gaudiwurm: Lined with thousands of visitors, the carnival procession meandered through Tegernsee.

6,500 onlookers celebrated carnival in Tegernsee yesterday and cheered on the 32-limbed Gaudiwurm.
Only the TÜV caused trouble.
Tegernsee - After the police first had a scattered car with a Pfaffenhofen license plate towed from the closed Max-Josef-Straße, the vehicle was able to line up there and in Bahnhofsstraße and the party started.
From 11 a.m. onwards, spectators crowded between the cars and stalls where you could buy beer, schnapps and hearty food and took a look at the 32 groups of participants and their vehicles.
Only the most expensive: the Fisher King of Preysing in his bathtub.

Nicknames for traffic light politicians

The people of Tegernsee set up a shooting range, from which Mayor Johannes Hagn gave the firing order “Free fire!” for the first fox-free climatic health resort in Bavaria and complained in a long polonaise from elementary school students that they would rather get their high school diploma than get a new schoolyard.

Nevertheless, they didn't miss out on the fun of the carnival and celebrated at Steinmetzplatz.
From there down to Seestrasse, past the brewery to the town hall, the spectators - hippies, nuns, Smurfs, animal representatives of continents, monks, Mexicans and cowboys - crowded in, singing carnival songs like the "Bonzenkarre" by local hero and Oimara Beni Hafner .
Things got particularly exciting at Rathausplatz, where the train had to make a U-turn and the four meter high vehicles, for example the sea spirits, met with their circus.
That also worked perfectly.
Overall, a smooth carnival celebration, accompanied by three marching bands.
