The Crachia carnival parade rolled through Hausham on Sunday in a largely apolitical manner: single Heinos instead of ridicule, funny animals instead of criticism.
The Miesbacher Warmbad and the Haushamer Volksfest were worth a few cars to the fools.
Hausham – Barbie digs a pink can of Prosecco out of her pink handbag.
Posing for a photo with a beer – that's not possible, she thinks.
She came from Miesbach to celebrate with her friend, a brown-haired Barbie: “The nice thing about carnival is that you don’t stand out,” says Barbie, whose real name is Birgit Eller.
So you can still have fun in your early 40s and no one will be bothered by it.

Why?
It's the first carnival parade after a five long year break, and people want to party.
Criticism of the traffic lights?
Dissatisfaction with the overall political climate?
That doesn't take up space in Hausham on this wet and cold Sunday.
Monks, two-legged beer crates, Smurfs and aerobics trainers from the 80s line Tegernseer Straße to the train station.
“Jochen, set the mood!” the Crachia presenter, dressed as a devil, shouts into his microphone on the stage at the train station, and DJ Einheizbrei gets going.
“It's Saturday evening and things are bad, I'm looking for the female gender,” comes the loudspeakers.
Happy faces, bouncing knees, hot Aperol and Jagertee – the Ramba Zamba at the train station opens at 1:13 p.m. sharp.
Senior rock: The “Black Sciatica Angels” also traveled with walkers.

At the same time, the carnival procession sets off in the parking lot of the former Nettomarkt on Tegernseer Straße.
According to Crachia train attendant Paul Martin, there are 19 groups.
The first - a beer tent decorated with pretzels - chauffeurs "the eleven festival hosts" of the Hausham Folk Festival 2023 with a wink. As is well known, it was canceled because the municipality as organizer could not find a festival host after Glück-Auf restaurateur Hans Seidl dropped out.
Also on board the moving marquee are a smiling beer keg and a female pirate.
“It is a great honor that Ilse is here today,” says the beer barrel, alias Mayor Jens Zangenfeind (FWG), and cheers to the pirate, none other than state parliament president and constituency member Ilse Aigner (CSU).
She throws candy into the crowd and waves.
The Schlierachtaler traditional costume association also makes the unusual folk festival a theme with its float.
The Haberer Miesbachs take a ride in a swimming pool decorated with bikini beauties.
“(w)ARMbad Miesbach” is written on it and: “Children’s dreams go swimming here.” On the lifeguard’s changing room it says: “1886 to 2024 – In silent mourning, debated to death.” But that’s about it for the political messages, apart from that of a man-don't-get-annoyed game in which Green is not allowed to play.
Otherwise: harmless hilarity.

“We consciously decided against doing anything political, we just wanted to do something light-hearted,” says Andreas Nickerl, chairman of the Agatharied boys’ club, for example.
Based on the cartoon Madagascar, his troop built a traveling island populated by zebras, monkeys and hippos.
It will take first place when a jury will later award the best car.
Followed by the pink Disney car of the Crachia show guard and the “Watch out, cuddly” car of the Crachia guard mice, who also dressed up like animals based on the film “The Lion King”.

“The Singles” are frivolous: The blonde Heinos continue the pop star’s church tour.
“I want ten naked hairdressers with really wet... hair!” Heino's voice is echoing from the car that has been converted into a church.
The fact that Pastor Michael Mannhardt is also on the jury is a gift.
Johannes Koller (20), who came from Schliersee dressed as a rock star with his girlfriend Maria Holzinger (22), thinks: “There is nothing embarrassing in carnival.”
