Kochel am See – A 55-year-old Munich man was attacked by a German Shepherd in Kochel am See on Saturday.

According to the police, at around 4.45 p.m. the man was talking to a 44-year-old from Landsberg am Lech on the meadow facing the lake near the Trimini car park, who was carrying a German Shepherd on a leash.

The man from Munich leaned down to pet the dog.

Unexpectedly, the dog snapped in the Munich man's direction and inflicted deep bite wounds on his neck and head area.
