The Günzenhausen Gaudiwurm reached political peaks.

There were plenty of local and national templates for this.

Günzenhausen

- On Sunday the carnival cheer really picked up speed in many towns, including in Hörenzhausen, Ottenburg, Deutenhausen and finally in the carnival stronghold of Günzenhausen - thanks to the Gaudiwurm organized by the Günzenhausen boys' club.

On its cross-country journey, the rolling carnival event provided a crazy spectacle non-stop for over five hours.

The procession was led by the Günzenhausen Kohlstatt Musicians, and an impressive finale was the Stone Age motif wagon with the Landjugend Neufahrn on board.

What is striking is that the vehicles get bigger and bigger over the years and are very elaborate, almost spectacularly designed, both in terms of craftsmanship and artistry.

This applied to the medieval castle of the Dietersheim Maypole Association or the magical Bauwong from Pelka, which was populated by countless Bibi Blocksbergs.

For the topics raised, including local and national excitement, there are plenty of templates - in Mainz as well as in Günzenhausen.

The Wengers skillfully and acerbically depicted the federal government as a puppet theater, and a local foot squad even wanted to bury the “traffic light”.

Using the example of the Huberwirt, the Echinger boys' club discussed the death of pubs, and the Günzenhausen boys were on the road as a botched traveling construction site.

Wheel of Fortune: Deserving actors were allowed to spin the disc on the wagon.

After a stopover in Deutenhausen, where more than half a dozen foot troops lined up from the eco-bikers (aka vineyard riflemen) to the Haimhauser village music, the stated destination was: the Günzenhausener Wirtshof, where the wagon parade led by the new court marshal Georg Kranz took place in front of a great backdrop of fools took place.

Important official act on his part: a heartfelt thank you to his long-time predecessor Hubert Rottmeir.

Various demonstrations provided entertainment when the carnival floats and squads were introduced.

The Greek-inspired country women in ouzo outfits invited people to Sirtaki dancing, the Fahrenzhausen-Kammerberg carnival club had their great teen and children's guard, including the prince couple, dance, and the Heidechia teen guard demonstrated their modern swing.

Particularly deserving activists, especially the Heidechia prince couple Franzi and Philipp (Steinbach), who live in Günzenhausen, were allowed to spin the wheel of fortune on the village stage's motif car.
