TSG Hoffenheim has been waiting for a win for seven games now.
The Matarazzo team can hardly think of anything against the relegation candidate from Cologne.
Thanks to Joker Kramaric there is a point.
Sinsheim - The relegation-threatened 1. FC Köln was only able to temporarily put its fans in a carnival mood before the Rose Monday parade.
Coach Timo Schulz's relegation-threatened team drew 1-1 (0-0) at TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on Sunday evening and only gave up the victory in stoppage time.
Max Finkgräfe gave the guests the lead with a free kick goal in the 79th minute.
Substitute Andrej Kramaric equalized (90+4).
In front of 23,020 spectators, the host European Cup candidate was long closer to victory in a very mediocre game.
After the end of the 21st matchday in the Bundesliga, coach Pellegrino Matarazzo and his team have now been without a three-pointer for seven games.
A week after the 2-0 win against Eintracht Frankfurt, the Cologne team failed to increase the gap to FSV Mainz 05 and SV Darmstadt 98 in the table cellar and are five points behind 1. FC Union Berlin in the relegation place.
Even on his one-year anniversary in Kraichgau, Matarazzo was unable to turn things around for the harmless Hoffenheim team.
TSG only won one of the last twelve games - and is still lagging behind in terms of demands and form.
Immediately after the break, there were also protests in the Sinsheim stadium against the planned investor entry into the German Football League (DFL).
Apples flew onto the lawn from the Cologne curve.
The visiting fans also showed a poster, probably with the likeness of TSG patron Dietmar Hopp as a caricature in the crosshairs.
Referee Christian Dingert interrupted the game for a few minutes.
The many loud Cologne fans who traveled along temporarily transformed the arena into a home game for their FC.
For the guests, who had to play without the injured offensive players Davie Selke, Mark Uth and Luca Waldschmidt, Luca Kilian played in central defense for the ill Timo Hübers.
At TSG, head of defense Florian Grillitsch was already acting as a ball distributor from the back in the build-up game, but there was initially a problem in the front third.
Ihlas Bebou missed after just under a quarter of an hour from a promising position.
Goal scorer Andrej Kramaric surprisingly sat on the bench for the time being.
With energetic duels and tactical discipline, the Cologne team mostly kept their opponents away from their own goal.
However, goalkeeper Marvin Schwäbe (25th) had to save with his foot when a deflected shot from Wout Weghorst was taken.
And just before the break, the Dutchman spooned the ball over the crossbar from the turn.

Otherwise, TSG's game lacked speed and movement to put the relegation candidates in trouble more often.
However, the Cologne team had even less to attack in the first half with striker Jan Thielmann in his 100th league game - but the 19-year-old Finkgräfe then fooled TSG keeper Oliver Baumann with a precise free kick into the right corner.
Kramaric ripped the guests out of all their dreams of victory in stoppage time.
