A "historic" Sanremo, Rai CEO Roberto Sergio does not hesitate to define it, thanking Amadeus for having built an "inclusive, elegant, truly for everyone, also and above all bringing together the youngest" festival.
Without forgetting the moments of reflection on "topics such as violence against women, deaths at work, illness, the human condition were addressed in depth and found the opportunity to reach an enormous audience in the Festival".
And with the contribution of Fiorello, "the man capable of bringing prime time to any hour of the day".
Even the director Giampaolo Rossi, in another note, speaks of "pride for this memorable edition: the record-breaking Sanremo has written a new page in Italian television".
And he thanks Ama, Fiore, the cast and all the professionals of the company.
Having ruled out - at least for the moment - the hypothesis of an Amadeus VI, the puzzle of succession opens up for the company.
"The experience gained in these five years has been exceptional and has created the conditions for the opening of the festival to a world that did not belong to it, in terms of audience and also of musical genres: this heritage cannot be dispersed, it is in somehow a point of no return," explains Prime Time Entertainment Director Marcello Ciannamea.
"I don't know if Amadeus will ever be able to think about it again, but we will evaluate it together. The Amarellos? The idea of creating a first evening with them is undoubtedly concrete, we'll talk about it later: it would be crazy not to think about it".
"It is premature", however, to talk about the future of Sanremo, even if the full name has already been given, by Carlo Conti ("If Rai asked me if I would be willing to do it again in one, two, three, ten years, I will sit down and I will try to understand, beyond ideas, if I still have the energy and ear to do it", he said) to Antonella Clerici, who in the past explained that she wouldn't mind returning to Ariston, from Alessandro Cattelan to Paolo Bonolis, whose contract with Mediaset it expires in June, to the couple Laura Pausini-Paola Cortellesi.
"In the meantime - says Ciannamea - I would like to redo Laura & Paola, the wonderful show from a few years ago: they are two wonderful artists, but they are always very busy".
As for Cattelan, busy with Stasera c'è Cattelan on Rai2, "we are building a prime time project with him, three or four episodes in the spring".
Also on the second network, which is struggling with ratings especially in prime time - in day time there is the phenomenon Viva Rai2!

Rai2 "is based on experimental entertainment and, as always happens, experiments can work or not. With The Floor, for example, we took a risk by bringing the quiz to prime time, and the results were interesting", he says.
