An 82-year-old from Munich crashed his Mini into the end of a traffic jam near Kochel.
Three people were injured in the serious rear-end collision.

There was a serious traffic accident between Kochel am See and Schlehdorf on Saturday (February 10th).
The result was a kilometer-long backlog.
Kochel am See - A serious rear-end collision with several injuries occurred on Saturday (February 10th) around 11 a.m. on state highway 2062 between Kochel and Schlehdorf.
Because of the heavy excursion traffic, a two-kilometer-long traffic jam had formed in the direction of Kochel.
Serious rear-end collision in Kochel am See: Mini crashes into the end of the traffic jam
According to the police, an 82-year-old from Munich noticed the end of the traffic jam too late and crashed his Mini violently into the rear of the Seat in front of him, which was being driven by a 45-year-old man from Wieseth (Ansbach district).
The collision was so violent that the Seat collided with the Nissan of a 67-year-old from Freiberg (Saxony) that was parked in front of it.

While the Freiberg man's wife in the passenger seat remained uninjured, both the Freiberg man and the driver of the Seat behind him suffered minor injuries.
The person who caused the accident was also injured in the accident.
The rescue workers took all three drivers to the Murnau accident hospital.
The three vehicles had to be towed away; the damage to each vehicle amounts to around 15,000 euros.
State road between Kochel am See and Schlehdorf closed for one hour
According to the Kochel fire department, the state road had to be closed for around an hour to record the accident, which led to a kilometer-long backlog all the way to Schlehdorf.
The Kochel fire department was on site with four emergency vehicles and 23 emergency services.
In addition, three ambulances and an emergency doctor were on duty.
