Already last May, a wind of anger was blowing among the tenants of Noisy-le-Sec Habitat, who accused their landlord of letting the property deteriorate while increasing rents.
Six months later, at the end of November, another alert was launched, this time by the auditor.
In question, the heavy debt, of more than 3.5 million euros, which weighs on the lessor's budget: tax and social debts on the one hand and debts owed to an energy supplier on the other.

The president of Noisy-le-Sec Habitat, also mayor of the commune of Seine-Saint-Denis, wants to be reassuring today: “The auditor alerted us to difficulties and a potential cessation of payments but we have established a protocol for spreading these payments with the company, explains Olivier Sarrabeyrouse (PCF).
As for unpaid tax and social debts, we had an installment agreement with the DGFiP (
the general directorate of public finances
) which was renewed.
I'm not telling you that society is doing well.
There is a structural difficulty which dates back several years.
