Despite the rainy weather, around 2,000 visitors come to Bichl for the annual carnival parade.
There was a lot to marvel at and laugh about.
Bichl - Whether it's federal politics or local excitement: This year the Bichler Maschkera have once again put a lot of effort into building the floats and costumes for their carnival procession.
The fools have been preparing for the spectacle for weeks.
And so they didn't let the rainy and cloudy weather spoil their mood.
Much to the delight of the audience, who flocked to the center of town on Sunday afternoon.
70th Bichler carnival parade: Maschkera are primarily targeting Penzberg
14 themed floats and six foot groups paraded through Bichl.
The Mashkera and their companions gathered on Sindelsdorfer Strasse.
From 1:33 p.m., like every year, they marched along Dorfstrasse towards the town hall.
This year the Bichler carnival procession also celebrated its anniversary.
It took place for the first time exactly 70 years ago.
Unlike in previous years, the fools and their leaders were less interested in Benediktbeuern and more in Penzberg.
So the bankrupt vulture from the neighboring town floated through the streets of Bichl.
“Penzberger hom koa Buifa more, now we have other income,” could be read on a wagon.
As an alternative source of income, the fools suggested reviving the mining operations in Penzberg.

The background is that Penzberg is in financial difficulties due to loss of income worth millions.
Most recently, the city incurred 28.9 million euros in debt to balance the financial budget for 2023.
As an “alternative” source of income, the Mashkera suggested resuming mining operations that had been suspended for decades.
They also brought a gold donkey with them and were collecting alms for the city's cash-strapped coffers.
The fools had put a lot of effort into this and even organized a smoke machine.
Maschkera jokes about Deutsche Bahn in the Loisachtal and Schlager-Studio in Bad Tölz
The Deutsche Bahn in the Loisachtal provided a great template for a whole lot of jokes.
As reported, due to the renewal of the overhead lines, no train ran to Kochel for almost a whole year until December.
The train drivers' strikes, the snow chaos at the beginning of December and stork nests in Bichl also caused major problems for the Kochelseebahn.
Construction work was interrupted for the Oktoberfest.
Of course, the Maschkera didn't miss the opportunity to take up the topic: "The students are not important to the train, only at Oktoberfest time is it right!" As an alternative, the Maschkera suggested a zip line from Bichl to Kochel.

The fools also took note of the fact that the former discotheque in Tölzer Moraltpark has become a hit TV studio since November.
Michi Schmid thinks the development is a shame.
“Our generation still experienced the 'Blu',” said Bichler.
“It would be nice, especially for young people, if there was a disco in Tölz.”

Sharp criticism of the Bichler mountain rifle company
There was sharp criticism of the Bichler mountain rifle company.
According to a decision by the board of directors in May last year, young people under the age of 16 are no longer allowed to ride on the bus when it comes to the Shooters' Patron Day, explained Malis Doll.
Children should not wear protective clothing in the beer tent either.
“We think that’s bad.
It doesn’t have to be the case that we parents follow behind,” said Bichler.
Queues of visitors at the Zugspitze and tourists in sandals were also an issue.

A group around Rudi Kramer Jr.
had painstakingly recreated the Zugspitze.
In August there was a traffic jam of visitors on Germany's highest mountain.
Reports of tourists wearing sandals also made the rounds.
“We just thought it was a funny topic that people were walking around with Glabbal and just queuing for pictures on social media,” said Kramer.
Around 2,000 visitors want to see the Bichler carnival procession
Berlin politics also got its fat, from the Federal Forest Act to Robert Habeck to the alleged lion sighting, for which the Mashkera had specially disguised sheep.
The Bichlers had also prepared a tip for the Benediktbeuren residents: “The radar box flashes funny when mom rushes to school at 100.” A particularly large number of parents were caught there.
The guard girls distributed a colorful shower of confetti, much to the delight of the spectators.
According to the police, around 2,000 visitors came.
