Because this year a viral recipe from the USA is taking over the snack scene: “Super Bowl Crack”.
Crispy riffle chips, creamy cheddar, hearty bacon and a spicy ranch topping - this combination is guaranteed to leave nothing to be desired!

After all, the Super Bowl is not only a sporting event that fascinates the whole world, but also perfect for preparing thematic recipes and snacks to stream together with friends.
Of course, American-inspired dishes from Simply Tasty such as Chicken and Waffles “Mexican Style” are a must here.
And the “Super Bowl Crack”, whose name isn’t really appealing at first glance, seems to be one of those snacks that you can’t get enough of.
Speaking of getting: the original video uses ranch seasoning, which is popular in the USA.
Since this is difficult to obtain in this country, Sandra simply replaces the spice mixture, which mainly consists of salt, herbs, onion and garlic powder, with a salad dressing mixture.

150g riffle chips
150 g cheddar cheese, grated
1 pack of salad dressing herbs (e.g. garden herbs)
100 g bacon, fried until crispy

Preheat oven to 190 °C fan oven.
Spread the chips on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Add the salad dressing spice mixture to the cheddar cheese in the package, close tightly and shake until the cheese is coated in the spice mixture.
Distribute cheese evenly over the chips.
Dice the crispy fried bacon and also distribute it on the chips.
Bake in the preheated oven for about ten minutes until the cheese is melted.
Serve immediately and enjoy with a herb dip!

In her video, which has now been viewed over 2.6 million times, she shows off the easy preparation of the snack and makes fans' mouths water.
The list of ingredients is short and clear, preparation is child's play and the result appears simply delicious.
In addition to some critical comments that make negative comments about the high salt content of the chips or complain that they are “just nachos,” the positive comments like this one outweigh the negative ones:
