Les Pennacs
is back on France 3 from Tuesday February 13.
And this new fiction from France Télévision flirts with reality.
The pair of main actors, played by Christian Rauth and Julie-Anne Roth, were on the set of “Buzz TV” this Monday, February 12.
Father and daughter in real life, they play this same relationship on camera.
He plays the role of Hannibal, a retired cop who will return to service alongside his daughter, Anabelle, an investigator.

“The genesis of this collaboration comes from the father's regret at having abandoned his daughter and who will try, when the opportunity presents itself, to mend things,
” explains Christian Rauth, delighted to be able to point out that he and his daughter are very far apart. of this tumultuous fictional relationship.

So much so that playing together in a series appealed to them.
While Julie-Anne Roth was testing for the series, casting director Joanna Delon floated the idea of her father joining her.
“He was willing to try it out with me and we had a lot of fun
,” explains Julie-Anne while Christian adds:

Indeed, the last names of each of them are not spelled the same way.

Like in the playground, he didn't like it so I put

On the other hand, the 50-year-old actress did not wish to follow her father's example.
“I love this name, I find it super chic.
There's a great novelist, I really like it.
It’s Anglo-Saxon and I don’t care if people make fun of me
,” declares Julie-Anne Roth.
However, in her early days and without her own agent, she had unwillingly signed her first film

by Cédric Klapisch in the same way as her father.
“When I saw “Rauth” on the poster I said to myself that it wasn’t me at all.
I wanted my space so I changed right after, keeping my real name.
It's a good way to have your space even though I love my dad very much.
