Big crush for Paris Rosa Parks
“A few steps from La Villette, the Paris Rosa Parks hotel is nestled in the heart of the Fertile Island.
Completely built in the 19th arrondissement, it is the first zero-carbon Parisian district in operation.
Here, rental and social housing, student residence, offices, sports center, incubator, youth hostel, shops and restaurants coexist;
no surprise that the new kid on the block OKKO Hotels has taken up residence there!
To fit perfectly into this eco-designed district, Paris Rosa Parks was designed by the architecture and town planning agency TVK, through a low-carbon construction which mainly favors cut stone from the Ile-de-France basin.
The interior decoration was entrusted to the Laune Architecte firm.
The choice of elegance as well as conviviality
Throughout the hotel, wood predominates, combined with other warm and natural materials.
It is also a huge green oak bar which sits in the Club, open 24 hours a day, signature of the OKKO Hotels concept.
To complete the decoration, an unprecedented partnership was established with Amélie Maison d'Art, an avant-garde contemporary art gallery: works of art punctuate the different rooms of the hotel, starting with a fresco painted by the artist Adriana Jaroslavsky who welcomes you upon entering.
The rooms combine aesthetics and functionality.
To offer lovers a stay where nothing has been left to chance, the mattresses in each room are 100% eco-designed in coconut fibers, natural rubber and wool, without spring or chemical foam.
Finally, to prolong the tête-à-tête, head to Noccio’s table.
This restaurant allows you to enjoy generous but refined cuisine around plates to share.
