Attention, police: These four young visitors also celebrated at the exuberant carnival party organized by the Landjugend Inning.

The largest carnival party on the eastern shore of Ammersee was a complete success on Saturday.
All in all, around 1,200 visitors came to the Landjugend Inning in the gym on Schornstrasse - a record, according to chairman Kilian Sturm.
Inning - 90 minutes entry stop because there were so many visitors: Kilian Sturm, the chairman of the Landjugend Inning, cannot remember that this ever happened at a Landjugend carnival party.
But on Saturday the time had come.
From 10:30 p.m. to midnight, the rural youth did not allow any new guests into the gym on Schornstrasse.
“We wanted to ensure safety and maintain enjoyment of the event,” explains Sturm in an interview with Starnberger Merkur.
The plan worked just as well as the new concept that the rural youth implemented for the first time this year.
And anyway: With an estimated 1,200 visitors, the party guests literally ran down the doors of the Inningers and celebrated the largest carnival party, at least on the eastern shore of Lake Ammersee - and not only exuberantly, but also peacefully.
“There were no incidents,” reports Sturm, calling the number of guests a “superlative.”
The chairman: “We were surprised and pleased by this response.”
“Our concept was a complete success,” he says happily.
For the first time, the rural youth had moved the entrance to the back of the hall, thus defusing the bottleneck stairwell through which visitors would otherwise get into the hall.
In addition, the rural youth expanded the bar area, which for the first time was set up in one line with the food and beverage outlets.
“This made it easier for us to react to the respective situations,” explains Sturm.
“With so many visitors, there were still queues.” There were also two extra stalls – one served the infamous Goaßmass, the other served après-ski classics such as Aperol Spritz, Almdudler Spritz or wing.
Guests from a radius of 30 to 40 kilometers
The guests came from a radius of 30 to 40 kilometers around Inning, many from the Landsberg and Fürstenfeldbruck districts, says the chairman.
The party band Sauwuid also comes from Bruck and, as in previous years, really heated up the crowd - especially since they played the hits of entire generations such as “Fliegerlied”, “Macarena” and “Skandal imsperrgebiet”.
During breaks and after midnight, another Inninger regular, DJ Thomas Engelmann, took control of the dance floor.
“He’s always well received too,” says Kilian Sturm.
The party lasted until just after four in the morning.
60 to 70 members of the Landjugend Inning were busy setting up and dismantling as well as the party itself from Thursday afternoon until well into Sunday.
“Many thanks to all the volunteers who sacrifice an incredible amount of time for this,” says Sturm – and also includes the members of the Neighborhood Aid Inning and the SV Inning, who organized a transport service that night.
What’s next for rural youth?
A club outing is planned – also as a thank you to everyone – explains Sturm.
There are also considerations for a solstice celebration.
And next year, the Inningen carnival party will take place again.
“This is our thing, while others celebrate barn festivals,” explains Kilian Sturm.
So everyone has their own hobbyhorse.
