On site, approximately three kilometers south of the village of Isola, they noted significant falls of trees and stones blocking RM 2205 from side to side.

The mayor of Nice and president of the Metropolis Christian Estrosi reacted at dawn, indicating that Threads had

Reopening in the afternoon

A little before 2 p.m., the Metropolis announced by press release that after carrying out emergency works,

“the road will be able to reopen in the middle of the afternoon under alternating traffic lights.”

a geotechnical engineer will intervene tomorrow morning to specify the duration that the necessary reinforcement work will take.

This will make it possible to precisely determine the date of full reopening of RM2205.”
